According to Hindu scriptures, Hanuman is depicted as a vanara, a humanoid monkey-like creature. He is believed to have been born to Anjana and Kesari, who were both ardent devotees of Lord Shiva. Hanuman's birth was granted as a result of a boon received by Anjana from Lord Shiva.

As a young child, Hanuman displayed remarkable abilities and exhibited his strength and mischief by disrupting the meditation of sages and creating chaos in the celestial realms. However, his life took a significant turn when he encountered Lord Rama during Rama's exile in the epic Ramayana.

Hanuman's deep devotion to Lord Rama led him to become an ardent ally and loyal servant. He played a crucial role in Rama's quest to rescue his wife, Sita, who had been abducted by the demon king Ravana. Hanuman embarked on an extraordinary journey to Lanka(Modern day Sri Lanka), Ravana's kingdom, to locate Sita and deliver a message of hope and reassurance from Rama.

During his search for Sita, Hanuman showcased his extraordinary powers and displayed acts of bravery, intelligence, and humility. He leaped across the ocean, defeated powerful demons, and even set fire to Lanka with his burning tail. Hanuman's unwavering faith and undying devotion to Rama earned him respect and admiration from both gods and humans alike.

Hanuman is revered as a symbol of strength, loyalty, devotion, and selflessness. His character exemplifies the virtues of courage, humility, and service to a higher cause. He is worshipped as a deity and considered a protector against evil forces. Hanuman temples can be found throughout India and other parts of the world, where devotees seek his blessings for strength, wisdom, and protection.

In addition to his role in the Ramayana, Hanuman is also believed to be an immortal and has appeared in various other Hindu scriptures and texts. His tales are often recited in the form of hymns, such as the Hanuman Chalisa, which is a devotional hymn dedicated to him.

Overall, Hanuman is an iconic and beloved figure in Hinduism, cherished for his devotion, strength, and selflessness. His stories continue to inspire and guide people in their spiritual journey and serve as a reminder of the power of unwavering faith and service.
